Planning your wedding day will not be an easy task. However, Primetime Entertainment is here to help you. We have a tremendous amount of ideas and suggestions to assist you in your efforts of having the perfect day. The first advice I can give you is that “A professional DJ service will be the heart of any wedding reception.”

This is a general outline of the entire planning process that should be done when hiring a professional Disc Jockey service.  This is how Primetime Entertainment runs its weddings.

We start with our initial meeting. This is when we meet one another and exchange our ideas about how to make your wedding day everything you dreamed of. We then book your date to guarantee “exclusivity” for that day.

After your date is locked in, this is where the real work begins. Primetime Entertainment now becomes your reception consultant, guiding you every step of the way. The process starts with our Reception Planning Workbook. This in-depth planner will guide you through the entire process from the first introductions to the last dance. Brides and Grooms love it and we have been told this is one of the most helpful items from any wedding vendor.

As we get closer to the wedding we will meet again and make all the final arrangements for your wedding based on the information in your Reception Workbook. We will discuss all the details down to the simplest items, answer all your questions, and address any concerns you may have. All we have to do now is wait in anticipation of the big day.

On the wedding day we put the plan into action. Eric will be dressed in his tuxedo, and will have his equipment set up and ready before the first guest arrives at the reception. Primetime Entertainment now becomes the Master of Ceremonies for the evening. We’ll begin by chatting with the guests and getting a feel for which ones are the more outgoing. We pass out an order of events sheet to the vendors to make sure that they all know when the important events will be happening so they can be ready.

Once the two of you arrive, Eric will meet you at the door, and we’ll set everyone up for the Grand Introductions. This is the part where everyone goes wild with excitement as the Bride and Groom walk through the door. After all the cheering from the crowd dies down, it is time to relax and have fun with your spouse and your family and friends. Now is the time to laugh and celebrate, knowing that you are in safe hands with Mr Reception in the lead.

From here Eric will keep your reception flowing throughout the evening. He’ll work with your photographer, videographer, and the facility staff to make sure your day comes off without a problem. We’ll continue with the formal events as we planned them out in our pre-wedding meetings. This will include any of the following:

- Toasts
- Cake Cutting
- Bride and Groom’s First Dance
- Father / Daughter Dance
- Mother / Son Dance
- Wedding Party Dance
- Bouquet & Garter Toss
- Dollar Dance
- and any other formalities...

During the reception Primetime Entertainment will entertain your guests and get them involved in the festivities. Eric will use his leadership skills and fun activities to break the ice and set the stage for a fun time. We’ll also open up the dance floor and encourage everyone, from Grandparents to Children, to come out and dance to their favorite songs. Our music collection spans the generations so there is something that everyone will enjoy.

As the reception comes to an end, we close the evening by bringing the Bride and Groom out for one final dance. Everyones attention will be turned toward them once again as we finish out the evening. At this point all the guests are usually gossiping about what a great time they had. From there, we end the evening and your wedding day is now what everyone uses for comparison.
