These are some general questions and answers that we frequently get asked about our wedding performances and about hiring Primetime Entertainment for your wedding. If you have further questions, Eric LaLone is always available to answer them. Contact Eric LaLone How soon should we book your services? Will you help us with our planning? Are we able to meet with you before we book your services? How do I book you for my reception? What are your hourly rates? Will you work with my other wedding vendors? How soon should we book your services? Our recommendation is the sooner you are able to book, the better. Primetime Entertainment is in high demand and only books one performance per day. There is a good chance that if you wait, we might not be available.
Will you help us with our planning? Primetime Entertainment prides itself on its coordination services. We offer the most extensive planning booklet of any disc jockey service in the Colorado Springs area. We will meet with you and discuss your plans to make sure that everything comes out just the way you want it. Are we able to meet with you before we book your services?
Eric LaLone meets with all the brides and grooms that he will be performing for. While a lot of disc jockeys will do this over the phone, we want to meet the couple so we can both get a feel for one another. Hiring someone blindly for something as important as your entertainment is taking a serious risk on your entire day.
How do I book you for my reception?
After our initial meeting, all that is required to lock in your day is a signed entertainment agreement and a deposit for the services.
What are your hourly rates?
Primetime Entertainment does not have hourly rates or time based packages. We perform for unlimited hours. We do this so you don't have to worry if certain parts of your reception go longer than planned, and you’re not constantly looking at the clock or having to negotiate for more entertainment time. When you’re done, we’re done!
Will you work with my other wedding vendors?
Our coordination skills are unmatched by any Colorado Springs disc jockey company. We will make sure that all the vendors at your reception are on the "same sheet of music," and we won’t do anything unless everyone is ready. This includes your photographer, videographer, caterer, wedding party, and all your guests. We receive compliments from brides and grooms all the time about how well we work with the other professionals at the reception. This makes for a seamless event for you.
How much time do you need for set-up?
Our goal is to be set up and ready to go 30 minutes before the guests arrive. To accomplish this we arrive at least 90 minutes prior to the scheduled start time of your reception.
Will you be dressed for the occasion?
For wedding receptions our standard attire is a tuxedo. However we will dress differently if you request it. Either way, our goal is to maintain a presence of professionalism at all times.
Do you provide lighting?
Only by request! Lighting is one of those items that can look very tacky in your photos. You spend all this time and money to make sure that everything is perfect for the reception. Then the DJ comes in and ruins it by setting up a monstrosity of lights that get in the way and look tacky.
How interactive will you be with the crowd?
We are one of the more interactive companies around, but it is all done with CLASS! Eric LaLone’s charasmatic attitude will entice people to have a great time. This all starts before dinner when we are out there mingling with the guests and getting them ready for the fun. This continues over into formal events of the reception and the fun games that we play with the audience.
Will you play requests from guests?
Yes, but only within the criteria set by the bride and groom. We love to play requests, however discretion needs to be taken with the appropriatness and timing of the songs played.
